We stayed in a 1 bedroom cabin at Ft Wilderness and had such a great time! It is so nice to have the amenities of your own cabin but still be in nature and be just a golf cart ride away from the stables, campfire, kayaking, fishing, or any other entertainment scheduled that day. I appreciate how Disney plans enough activities that you could spend your whole week at the Fort and leave happy and refreshed. Getting to any park besides Magic Kingdom usually takes multiple bus transfers and is not ideal, so I recommend Ft Wilderness as a trip on its own. The decorations for holidays should not be missed! We did not try any onsite food options because the cabin has a full kitchen and its own grill out front. Disney glamping at its finest :)
